Fresh off the Clear Lake shoot I find myself ready to hit up my home waters this weekend for the first annual Relentless 365 Delta Shootout. We had a hard time finding the fish at Clear Lake and when we did get into them
the carp were deep. I am talking like 8-12' shots! Next year I am going to break out the heavyweight(A bowtech Samson set at 90lb.) so I can reach out and touch some of those bad boys. Just like every year though a couple teams manage to get into the fish and two different teams managed to weigh in over 500 pounds of fish on Sunday. The weather is looking killer for the shoot this Sunday. It is supposed to be 92 degrees with very little wind. Should be the right conditions for some monster bags of carp. Registration will take place from 6:30-8:00 Sunday morning with blast off occuring at 9:00. Come on out for a good time. |
